Mrs B and I went away for the weekend about 5 years ago & watched someone in the restaurant propose to his girlfriend.She said no.
I was quite drunk and it was very difficult not to laugh.

I carved the proposal in snow in the back garden.Went down on one knee. She told me to get up before I got cold, burst in to tears, said 'I'm not good at commitment' and then said yes.
