I wouldn't say that any of those examples actually improve the originals.
Empire Strikes Back is the best Star Wars film though, I'll give you that. I prefer Alien to Aliens though.

nah, I thought Prometheus was silly.
The space-Jesus thing was risible, and it was nowhere near as good as Ridley Scott was making out. I would like to see the sequel though, and Fassbender was excellent.
