It was a bit
but the rewards were so obvious it makes me want to get off it again. On the other hand, I really like beer.

Doesn't make as much difference to be honest.
Alcohol has a lot of calories, but the main problem is it slows the breakdown of fat. 2 beers in 3 hours has the same effect as 10 beers on the breakdown of fat.
