When I was working in a hotel I managed to pour boiling water from a chafing dish all over my ankle.That was pretty stupid, although it did mean that I spent the remainder of an extremely busy, understaffed night down at Warwick Hospital.
I got back just in time for the end of service and sat in the manager's office drinking beer.

My brother steamcleaned his foot whilst working in the kitchens at Winchester HospitalProper 'cut your shoe off you' stuff - lucky he was already in the hospital at the time, eh readers?!
