Never done mushrooms. A bad experience with acid at Reading festival in 1997 put me off anything remotely hallucinogenic for life.

Got a couple of grams in for the weekend. Can't wait.

Mushrooms are like an nice easy version of acid.
I recommend that you use them to get over this irrational fear of yours.

The only downside I used to find with acid is that it lasts so bloody long.
Mushrooms are a delightful halfway house - pop 'em down at lunchtime and be normal again in time for dinner.

I can assure you it's not irrational, that was a fucking horrible experience
I'm told by anyone who'll listen to the whole story that it was all about situation and that acid can be great fun in the right place with the right people. To this, I say "fuck off, I'll stick to ecstasy thank you very much"

I've never tried ecstasy, factfans.
It always looked horrific to see others on it.
Plus most ecstasy tablets sold in the UK in the last 10+ years have been more amphetamine than MDMA.

MDA and MDEA are cheaper and easier to make than MDMA.
Most tablets sold here in the past ten yeas have been either of those, mixed with chalk.
