I once joined an online poker tournament with a $200 buy-in while very drunk
and then forgot I was playing and went to bed. Finished 2nd somehow, so it worked out.

I stopped playing online poker shortly after that.

Looking over the hand history the following morning
there were 3 other players still in when I stopped, and the computer would put in my blinds and fold if anyone raised. 3rd and 4th place finishers were idiots and let me win a couple of hands, and by chance I had the best hand when the computer put me all-in, and then they both went all-in against the eventual winner. Won about $420.

I joined sky poker because of their free £500 prize thing if you put a fiver down.
i made like £9 in three hours. Total waste of my time.

Mainly because I was shit at paying attention and kept automatically folding.

I generally played games with short turn limits
so that the other players can't just sit there for ages deciding what to do - otherwise it's horribly boring. Also since I'm not very good I didn't want people who were having the time to make good decisions.
