One thing I don't understand about the rental market is....
In London it's pretty standard for rent to include all bills but it's not at all here. That's strange isn't it?
(, Tue 9 Apr 2013, 14:27, Reply)
I rented for about ten years and never once had the bills included.

(, Tue 9 Apr 2013, 14:28, Reply)
Oh right.

(, Tue 9 Apr 2013, 14:28, Reply)
If you rent a room rather than a flat then I suppose it might be more likely

(, Tue 9 Apr 2013, 14:29, Reply)
That must be it.
I was in the pub with some london people and they were all "omg your rent is so cheap" but when you took into account they had their bills included it wasn't that much different a month. £200 ish.
But I think they were all shared houses.

It seems there is quite a lot you don't understand about the rental market.
Do you want Dozer to explain it to you?
(, Tue 9 Apr 2013, 14:29, Reply)
I think we all do.
Oh, wait, no, the other thing.

I'm the head of the bank of England.

(, Tue 9 Apr 2013, 14:31, Reply)
that isn't very impressive compared to an fsa position in Leeds, which is booming at the moment
or York which is also booming
(, Tue 9 Apr 2013, 14:33, Reply)
Aberdeen has a very strong financial services sector, I hear.

(, Tue 9 Apr 2013, 14:36, Reply)
:( i'm so ignorant of these things

(, Tue 9 Apr 2013, 14:39, Reply)
is manchester booming?

(, Tue 9 Apr 2013, 14:37, Reply)
No, it's shit and has been for the past five years. Clearly Leeds and York have moved to a different dimension, when I wasn't looking

(, Tue 9 Apr 2013, 14:38, Reply)
NOT SINCE 1996!!!!

(, Tue 9 Apr 2013, 14:39, Reply)

(, Tue 9 Apr 2013, 14:28, Reply)
Londons standard is exclusive of bills

(, Tue 9 Apr 2013, 14:28, Reply)
Not found many bills being included in my five months of looking.
