A proper DJ would have cobbled something together from an old telephone.

I record all my DJ tune linkers (?) on the ear piece from a maplins crystal radio

Do you start them all with 'Good morning campers! Hi-De-Hi!'

I think they all suffer from spina bifida

Because you only need one headphone when beatmatching.
Most mixers don't have split cue or the ability to alter the volume of each channel on the cue only.

Also, split cue is never as good as listening to the monitor with one ear while listening to the cueing track.
