you live in a world of labels, fine wines and foods etc. Implicit snobbery and conceit at anything that doesn't subscribe to that world, and frequent banding of the terms pleb and peasant for not either having money, or having the correct brand or label.
Yeah that's definitely middle class middle England tory conceit if ever I've seen it.
(, Mon 15 Apr 2013, 11:29, Reply)
It's just as well that New Labour didn't end up so Tory
that it left the Tories reeling for want of some traditional Tory ground to stand on.

Otherwise Battered, the dyed-in-the-wool-working-man-made-good, might look a little silly.

You know it is actually possible to be middle class and vote Labour right?

(, Mon 15 Apr 2013, 11:34, Reply)
yeah, it's not like new labour didn't jump on to the thatcher bandwagon and in many ways became more tory than the torys. Check out their continued deregulation of the city, refusal to reinstate union powers, and all that jazz
ITS OK TO BE UPSET ON WEDNESDAY BATTERED, HAVE A GOOD CRY, LET IT ALL OUT
