I do not claim to speak for any putative protesters,however I suspect it would be the point that one's sins should not be forgotten or glossed over just because one is dead, and also that many people object strenuously to £10m of state money being spent on the funeral of a millionaire, especially under the current economic climate, when the money could well be spend on better things.
