That does appear to be the flaw in that trailer.
You can't have gritty realism AND dress up in lycra with a bent cape.

Don't get me wrong, might be alright
And I'll end up going to see it

But I hope it's not as SUPER SERIOUS as the trailers are making out, he's superman, he's one step up from Aquaman and not a big step at that

I wouldn't mind them copying Marvel's approach and having individual movies first
But they've had a stab at Green Lantern already and that was shit, so I dunno if they can be relied on to turn out some decent films.

They'd have to make (good) movies of Wonder Woman, Batman (rebooted) and Flash at LEAST. I could live without an Aquaman movie.
Bang out the JLA movie, then see if anyone cares enough to see the rest.
