i'm not a fan of the Veyron, I mean it's impressive, but it leaves me cold

i love my merc
but i'd swap
(, Wed 8 May 2013, 10:40, Reply)
your merc is a toy in comparison
which variant do you have anyway?
(, Wed 8 May 2013, 10:41, Reply)
She's got an SLK. I assume 200.

(, Wed 8 May 2013, 10:41, Reply)
hahah, car bitchyness
yeah i know it's an SLK but lets be honest 55AMG or GTFO
(, Wed 8 May 2013, 10:42, Reply)
it's fucking nippy and it makes a nice roar when i put my foot down
i like these features. in all seriousness, the speed has saved me a couple of times on the motorways from dumbass left-hand foreign trucks that simply haven't seen me

Not bitchiness at all
I assumed no-one actually bothered buying the bigger engined ones, I can't really see the point.

But fair dos. It's marginally less hairdressery than I thought.
(, Wed 8 May 2013, 10:47, Reply)
because when i put my foot down it goes vrooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom

(, Wed 8 May 2013, 10:49, Reply)
unless you fancy an 8 ltr Viper
with about 11bhp, well done america, very clever

i has the slk 300
in shiny black. with black leather seats. like the batmobile.

haha, there is a shit car on my street, some tiny square boxy little thing, with the bat symbol on the bonnet. why??

You can get chrome-plated ones
would you like that?
(, Wed 8 May 2013, 10:41, Reply)
YES
except that i read somewhere that a dude bought his wife a chrome plated mini, only to find the cunt was totally uninsurable (the car, not the wife)
(, Wed 8 May 2013, 10:42, Reply)
It leaves fucking anything cold.
it's the 1000 hp that does it.

/I do know what you mean. Even VW admitted it was purely an exercise in engineering possibility when they built it. It's got no soul
(, Wed 8 May 2013, 10:40, Reply)
You'd never get the ribs to mine in a Veyron
Firstly, you'd never find anywhere to park it, it's the size of a roundabout. Also, glazed ribs on new Bugatti leather? A likely story.
(, Wed 8 May 2013, 10:42, Reply)
As an engineering exercise it is very impressive.
I'd rather own an F40 though. Always coveted one of those.

My godmother's boyfriend has a beautiful Daytona
amongst a collection of 1020/20s bentleys
(, Wed 8 May 2013, 10:44, Reply)
Actually, the only car that I've ever really particularly desperately wanted to own
is the 2000 vintage TVR Tuscan.

Which is convenient as that's actually affordable. It's just a shame I can't put a child seat in it.

I'm not that arsed by supercars; I mean I wouldn't say no, but I wouldn't go out of my way to own one unless I was seriously loaded.
(, Wed 8 May 2013, 10:44, Reply)
I had a Chimera - the high compression version. Brilliant car & never had a problem with it, despite their reputation.

(, Wed 8 May 2013, 10:46, Reply)
I had one of those, too
on Gran Turismo 2
(, Wed 8 May 2013, 10:46, Reply)
they are a bit silly and yet...

(, Wed 8 May 2013, 10:47, Reply)
i want a proper 1960's or 1970's ragtop beetle
a silver one. or maybe a pink one.
