OK, racism is pretty disgusting to us now, but you have to remember that in her day they were a service caste. It may just be that she hasn't properly adjusted to modern attitudes yet. Maybe she doesn't fully comprehend that you can't talk about people like they're sub-human anymore.
But yeah, she's being pretty gross about this whole thing.

there are pics, audio recordings etc. so, are these people laughing with him, or at him?
some commentators say WITH! he's a genius and we are celebrating him. other say AT! how can anyone possibly be appreciating him? they must be mocking him.
my actual view is that the answer is both - some people think he's done a great thing, others hear, "haha that man talks funny". the answer is usually "both" though.
