Found an old DE razor in one of the office drawers which the boss let me have, as nobody claimed it. Took it home and cleaned it up.
From the serial number underneath it's one of the first series of the 1958 Gillete Fatboys, with a incremented collar on the bottom to adjust the closeness of the shave. Re-plated, sells for about £80.00-£120.00

I saw it and asked someone to relay the message that it went well, but somebody told me that you told me to do one so I did a :(
It went well, Ellie beat her PB and I ran it with a 6-pack of diet coke, a 10-pack of Fosters and a bag of ice, total weighed about 20kg.

I had bruises on my back and shoulders for a few days but cracking a cold beer at the finish line tasted fucking incredible.

I'm not sure I'll ever be able to do real distances ad my knee starts to give out around 3k. I might switch to cycling.
