Can't be arsed. Haven't found a way of transferring from laptop to TV that's easy enough, plus most stuff seems to be shit quality.

If most stuff is shit quality, you are simply dowloading the wrong stuff
Pretty much any TV series and recent film can be obtained in a range of qualities to suit your download allowance or TV size.

Also, if your laptop has an HDMI output, which it will if it's not a shit laptop, and your TV has an HDMI input, which it will if it isn't a shit TV, then you simply connect your laptop to your TV and use it as an external monitor.

If your telly doesn't have an HDMI input then it's shit enough for your comment about the quality of torrented material to be uninformed gibberish.

All the kit I have does have HDMI.
Would you mind listing some sites that work/ have good quality downloads for you so I can give them a try?

Go to Come.in, it's a proxy for pirate bay and kick ass torrents.
Then you just need utorrent and you're set.

Great. Thanks for that. Much appreciated.

Actually, for most current TV series, jsut go straight to eztv (google it) and you can get the magnet links for torrents from there.

Don't dismiss what i'm 'bout to say.....
But you can get an xbox360 really cheap these days, it's got apps from pretty much every major content-provider available, and can read USB sticks.

I never use mine for games, maybe a couple of times a year, but as a media-machine, I use it every day.
