I'm gonna drink a bottle I the wine society's Beaujolais tonight
It's a well rounded, tasty and well priced at £6.50 a bottle.

This is how you get value for money on wine.

I have a wine guy.
He does some very nice bottles for around that sort of layout. He imports them and gives me 10% off :)

This is also how you get value for money on wine.

That is why I do. Best way to get advice about what new stuff to try.

Or, or
You could just pay as little as is physically possible, as price is everything

all the wines i like are about £20 a bottle
i like sancerre, for example.

luckily, £20 also buys rotgut vodka, and i can happily neck that instead.

I like a bit of Sancerre
You can get a decent drop for less than £20 I you look

Sancerre rose is quite nice occasionally, particularly with barbecued lamb.
