but as a resident who lives v near it - 7500 more homes... jesus christ, you already can't move on the streets around there because of fuckwits, trying to drive through earls court adds 25 minutes to any journey. so i'd need to see how the developers propose to deal with the infrastructure and then i could form a view.

it's not the developers responsibility to put in the rest of the infrastructure, it's up to the city of london/local authority.
And they won't do anything like that until there is a need so you're forever stuck in a chicken and egg situation, particularly when all the infrastructure is privatised.

it does suck, because on the one hand the new homes are needed, and the site is an eyesore. but on the other, it really is not the place to put them, unless they are prepared to spend a fortune on the roads etc. earls court is a nightmare as it is, tube, roads, the works.

also i hate modern architecture. it's looks nasty. bring back the victorian bricks.
