headlines a bit much. The worst part of the Royal Family isn't the people themselves, it's not the continuing bellyaching about the 4p a month or whatever it is to keep them in the style to which they are accustomed, it's the saccharine fawning of papers like the Daily Mail.

If nothing else, it helps to have a card up your sleeve when dealing with Americans who I'm sure are all identical in their "Oh my GAAAAAAHD I LIKE TOTALLY MET THE QUEEN OF ENGLAAAAAAND", including Obama and Bush and all the rest of them.
