If I understand you correctly
I'd say it's illustrated by that fact that I'm not overly happy about the Lithium gags because I have some genuine history in this regard (although I think I have the sense not to get obviously would up about it) but the steam-punk gags are more of less water off a duck's back.

In my defence I'd say I'm criticising him for getting the hump when I quoted his own words back at him. Although before that I was criticising him for banging on about his HOT WIFE.

as for my getting the hump about stuff I've revealed, have I? you could well be right, my memory is shit, but AFAICR most of my life I don't reveal on here (as I know the shit would get ripped, this being what happens here).

Yes, it's a point.
I forget that some people are relative newbies. I used to talk a lot more but most of the people I liked talking to left. these days I only tend to come here when I'm bored, which probably adds to that impression.

ETA: I think I did always rant though. it's just that now most of the pleasant conversations that used to happen in between don't happen as I'm either not here or not talking.
