Aldi do some very cheap reds which are actually OK.They won't win awards or owt, but they're reasonably palatable.

Grapevine Merlot, £3.19 a bottle.Nowt flash, but it's quite fruity and mellow. Kooliburra special reserve, £3.99 is pretty good as well.
