I am now reliably informed we are having a barbecue. This means there will be huge lumps of dead animals and minimal amounts of green items and roots etc.
This is a good thing.

are you deliberately trying to upset me

(, Wed 7 Aug 2013, 18:11, Reply)

Not deliberately. However, if it does, that's a serendipitous outcome :)

Just chilling after gruel time.
Off for a few pints in the chavland that is Blackpool's Golden Mile. Boozers selling pints for £1.95 and £1.50, classy. This place is so cheap for takeaways and booze.
(, Wed 7 Aug 2013, 18:32, Reply)
You live in Blackpool? How have you not killed yourself?

(, Wed 7 Aug 2013, 18:38, Reply)

(, Wed 7 Aug 2013, 18:51, Reply)
I did.
Start date unconfirmed (one of the directors is on holiday for a fortnight and I think the other one is going off next week) so I may have a couple of weeks to play with.

Still got to jump through the jobcentre's hoops, though.

Aldi do some very cheap reds which are actually OK.
They won't win awards or owt, but they're reasonably palatable.

my brother told me this very thing a few days ago

(, Wed 7 Aug 2013, 19:15, Reply)
Grapevine Merlot, £3.19 a bottle.
Nowt flash, but it's quite fruity and mellow. Kooliburra special reserve, £3.99 is pretty good as well.

Trying to decide whether to cook or just have a sandwich. I'll be putting together a sausage casserole later for the slow cooker tomorrow, that might be enough cookery for one evening. There may also be some wine consumed.

(, Wed 7 Aug 2013, 19:56, Reply)
