I won't, I'll be spending it on another house, the price of which will also have risen probably by at least a similar amountbut possibly by even more since expensive properties tend to increase in value at a greater rate than cheaper ones.
This will actually lead to me having less money if I move to a bigger place.
But, you know, don't let that change your argument.

i just find it shocking that you would think it was a terrible thing for house prices to go upbut seek to take advantage of that yourself by pocketing any increase above what you paid for it. i've never ever ever come across a hypocritical hand-wringer before, you see.

i'm genuinely shocked i was so sure he'd say, "of course, my principles are so strong, i'll refuse to take a penny more than i paid for it, so that i have done my bit to keep house prices where they should be."
