someone told me the soil is quite acidic, so even the fruit doesn't grow that wellbut it might just have been hotel bollocks.
everything was fried - fried fish, fried meat, fried plantain. tinned fruit, boiled white rice. soupy soapy ice cream. ghastly.
but still one of the best holidays ever. well worth going.

It's cos they have fuck all and old farm eqpt etc etc. It's just rubbish food.

Deffo. Some hotels are better than others as I think there is some competition for produce. The food isn't awful you just don't get many times when you think BRILLIANT.
