No, it just means you _can_ do that, don't _have_ to though.They put those chips in toys and playing cards, these days too... not much use to us but still pretty cool. Like, you collect these pokemon (or whatever) cards, hold it up to your phone, then you can get more information.
It's the tech that i've been most waiting for for the last 2-3 years in iPhone.... if it is, i'm going into buisness in making awesome buisness cards with NFC chips in. NFC chips cost sweet fuck all.
