And what the fuck is/are 'After Effects'?
Given that I don't know, I think you could assume it's a no.

Alt: Lemons are best of the citrus gang, seeing as they improve so much savoury cooking.

Altalt: Of course it's morally wrong. However so are lots of things I don't really have a problem with. What's pathetic is when people try to claim that it isn't.

more viewings today, no offers
PS alright
(, Mon 16 Sep 2013, 17:28, Reply)
SP Alright.
With this number of viewings, you'll have an offer in no time - or at least some good feedback from your agent as to why you've not had any.

Short lease, and ground floor are the sticking points, I think.
If I hold out, prices will rise around me, so if i don't raise mine it will become a better and better deal...

Ground floor why, security issues?
Do you have an elevator?
(, Mon 16 Sep 2013, 17:36, Reply)
Well a couple of them have been single women who have perceived security issues which are simply not there.
I've never been burgled once in 12 years (not has anyone else in the block that I know of) and actually as the area gets busier it's even less likely. Stupid birds.

There are only stairs. No elevator - not even a 'lift' as we English call them. But being on the ground floor that's not hugely relevant to my flat anyway, surely?

What YOU need to do, it to GET A LIFE.
Or a lift.

YOUN

(, Mon 16 Sep 2013, 17:49, Reply)
you'd be wrong, my lovely friend
as lifts are the biggest thing in any service charge. and ground floor flats still have to pay for them. so it's a selling point for you: you're not paying for other lazy cunts to haul their arses off the ground.

ok

"but no-one REALLY loses out, hmmm?"
Wankers, Monts. If you're going to pirate stuff, at least have the balls to front up that it's wrong.
(, Mon 16 Sep 2013, 17:28, Reply)
Yeah. Those Samali types are great pirates.

(, Mon 16 Sep 2013, 17:29, Reply)
I have, in the past, pirated Photoshop
on account of not wanting to spend 300 quid on a program I would only use for hilarious head swaps.

But then I found out about Irfanview and was on the right side of the popo again.

A man's drift to the criminal underworld and subsequent salvation described in two short paragraphs. I should get a Turner.
(, Mon 16 Sep 2013, 17:29, Reply)
it's more like £700
these days unless you get the student/ teacher version.

I pirated it for years, that's how I learnt it
(, Mon 16 Sep 2013, 17:30, Reply)
I use Irfanview occasionally. It's fine for what I need it for which is bugger all other than cropping images.
Cool story eh.

Gimp, and Gimpshop are good.

I genuinely don't care whether people do it or not.
I used to use nick music where I had owned the CD version once but iTunes didn't have it.

But it really fucks me off when people try and justify it. Especially the half-arsed "oh but it's not stealing as there is no intention to permanently deprive".
(, Mon 16 Sep 2013, 17:32, Reply)
The idea that because it's not a physical entity and therefore you haven't nicked a 'thing' is utterly pathetic weasel words

(, Mon 16 Sep 2013, 17:34, Reply)
it gets mixed up with the
'information needs to be more free' argument which tries to make science and stuff better and ends up with 'I want free stuff, gimme'
(, Mon 16 Sep 2013, 17:34, Reply)
Quite so, Cavers, quite so.

(, Mon 16 Sep 2013, 17:35, Reply)
I stopped stealing music when I realised that most of the guys I listen to nowadays probably don't earn that much more than me...
..and are working hours at least as long as me in a week to make it.
(, Mon 16 Sep 2013, 18:46, Reply)
This 100% precisely.
I'll only judge you if you're being a prick and trying to excuse what is quite clearly stealing from the people who funded the enterprise in hope of financial gain.
