Again it's
very nearly getting struck by lightning when about 3 feet from the edge of the Grand Canyon.

Alt: going to see Mrs V's mate on Saturday to dog-sit and get drunk. Once again I will no doubt joke about us all having a threesome, but we won't.

Altalt: drinking in the beer garden with mates from about 4pm on a Saturday, with no plans to do anything else, just seeing how it goes.

My other half walks dogs for a part time thing.
Some folk are silly enough to part with large amounts of money for their laziness.

It's idiotic to get a dog unless you can guarantee one of you is going to be around 90% of the time.

I understand that dogs need walking and that some are prepared to pay others to do this for them.
But dogsitting? Fack off.
Some friends of mine always used to cry off early on nights out because they "needed to get home for the dog".
