Just another 1900 odd calories needed for the rest of the day then.

i sort of agree and sort of disagree
in that 2,000 calories of mars bar per day ain't helping anyone.

I heard a consultant on R4 a few weeks ago ripping a 'diet specialist' a new one for spouting the latest mumbo jumbo
The gist of his recipe for losing weight (for the 99.9% of us that don't have metabolic problems)?
Burn more calories than you consume. There are two ways to do this, lower your intake to less calories than you burn or up your calorie burning to more than you consume.
That's it in a nutshell.

Or you know, do a bit of both.
Eat a bit less, do a bit more.
