I have many hats, a corset (which is now way too big), some quite over the top jackets and that's before you even get to the larp kit.
Right now though it's just shirt and jeans. Boring

i'm just a bit over 3 1/2 stone less than I was last year. about 8 pounds and I'm socially acceptable (weightwise, mind...nothing else)

A proper longbow cross section includes heartwood and sapwood, one's better in tension, the other's better in compression (buggered if I know which is which). IIRC a longbow was made from a split stave from the tree.

I would love to be able set a longbow with a draw weight of 90–110 pounds-force (400–490 newtons)
