Freaky and horrible
I'm in the midst of an epic bout of deja vu. things I'm doing, conversations around me, all feels like I've seen it before in a dream or something.

I'm worried though because I have a feeling that the dream ended up with something bad happening. like something really bad but I can't remember what it is....

I'm dreading my phone ringing

Don't worry.
Deja vu happens when your brain is tired. The synaptic nerves aren't firing as quickly as they should.

Something like that anyway. A nurse told me once.

I've heard explanations
that it is different parts of your brain processing stimuli at slightly different times so it feels like you've been through the same thing twice (simplified)

however, when I get it I'm certain that the previous vision of it has been a long time before, sometimes years...

it's gone now though which is good, and nothing bad has happened

I have never
experienced deja vu. Sounds fun though.

I get that too
The "I swear this happened months ago" or "I dreamt this only last week" feeling. Have yet to predict anything when it happens though. I try to just enjoy the sensation and then get on with things.
