One of the questions was What is the only country beginning with A that doesn't end in A? I answered that both Afghanistan and Azerbaijan begin but not end in A and the fuckers marked it wrong. Im still fucked off about it.

I used to do a quiz where the pub owner wrote it, and he used to deliberately put in questions that had multiple answers and then only accept the ones he liked. Also, a series of increasingly odd questions including my favourite "If Istanbul was Constantinople and Iraq was Mesopotamia, what was Iceland?"

He said he did it to stop "professional" quiz teams turning up and winning every week. Which was reasonable, if a little odd.
