I have about 2000 drum and bass records that I should have sold a few years ago before everything that was rare and sought after was re-issued and re-pressed and now are worth next to nothing.
I might get rid of them one day. The difficulty of living on your own in a three bedroom house means there is too much 'spare' room to fill up.

you should try half a flat

disclaimer: i am not asking you to move in with me

The answer would be no anyway. I have a luxurious house on the coast with sea views to the south and rolling hills to the north, which costs me next to nothing to live in.
So I would never have the need to live in a pokey half flat in an average London area.

Lies. You live in a run down port town next to an oil refinery.
I can see no problem with the rest of your post, however. I bet she lives in the original servant's wing, too.

Well, okay maybe I *was* stretching the truth a little.
But at least my HOUSE, you know with STAIRS and GARDENS (Plural), is a complete building not a '1 of 8' bedsit fashioned out one reasonable 'studio' apartment. That my dad bought for me.

(, Mon 21 Oct 2013, 16:27, Reply)
have you still got your technics?
I have hundreds of records. Most of the essential breaks records from 2000 to 2010 or so.

What mixer do you like using the most?
(, Mon 21 Oct 2013, 15:18, Reply)
tonic

(, Mon 21 Oct 2013, 15:19, Reply)
Probably Ginger Beer.

(, Mon 21 Oct 2013, 15:19, Reply)
No I 'lent' them to a 'mate', who I suspect 'sold' them :(

(, Mon 21 Oct 2013, 15:19, Reply)
I refuse to get rid of mine.
But I don't even have a mixer anymore.

I did recently cane some of them on my hifi though.
(, Mon 21 Oct 2013, 15:19, Reply)
I have fuck all to even play 'em on.

(, Mon 21 Oct 2013, 15:20, Reply)
technics but no mixer?
Interesting setup.

I like Pioneer mixers. I get intimidated by Allen and Heath.
(, Mon 21 Oct 2013, 15:22, Reply)
I had one of those Citronic Battlemixers for ages, really basic but had a short cross fader which I really liked

(, Mon 21 Oct 2013, 15:25, Reply)
you do know that most decent mixers have curve selectors for the crossfader?
My first decks were citronic. They were atrocious. I bought my 1210s for 180 notes.
(, Mon 21 Oct 2013, 15:26, Reply)
I had KAM belt drives first.

(, Mon 21 Oct 2013, 15:27, Reply)
fucking hell
Belt drives are pointless for mixing.
(, Mon 21 Oct 2013, 15:29, Reply)
To be honest, they weren't the worst I have used. I bought them for about £75 when I was 14/15.

(, Mon 21 Oct 2013, 15:30, Reply)
I nearly traded my SLs for Vestax once.
Way better decks than Technics, but no fucker uses them outside of turntablist land.
