i saw him before he was on telly
in some pub basement. He was pretty clever, only lots of the audience didn't get that he was playing a character and did ridiculous heckles. I think he's trapped by that character now

I saw Chubby Brown in a pub gig before he was.well known. Real workinh man club stuff, mixed grill raffle etc. Fucking hilarious.
