Its all about the little victories in life for me
....as I can't think of any tales of sheer genius

Alt:
Coffee

AltAlt:
I'd quite like some kind of barn conversion with a load of trees round and maybe a pond/lake.

Can I live in your pond?

Yes you can

I'm looking at places just outside Edinburgh for when minibadger is able to walk, to get a big garden
It's fucking astonishing what 300k can buy you within 15 miles of the centre of Edinburgh.

I love living where I do
or I will once I've finished all the fucking work. The beach is literally 2 mins away, there are good local shops 200 yards away and 2 good boozers. 15 mins walk will get me to a Metro and Whitley Bay town centre and its really quiet and peaceful

It's pretty astonishing what that sort of money will buy you
anywhere north of Enfield. You could get a really nice house around Cambridge for that money.

yeah. absolutely.
Still, London eh? best place INNA WORLD, INNIT?
(, Thu 7 Nov 2013, 14:30, Reply)
I like living in London.
A few years on that property ladder and I can jump in four rungs further up anywhere else in the country. Handy!

Unless, of course, at some point in the next few years
the economy sees through the teetering emperor's new clothes car crash that is the London property market, of course.

Admittedly, that's fucking unlikely, since, y'know, pricks. But still.
(, Thu 7 Nov 2013, 14:39, Reply)
it's not just pricks
it's international money innit

A converted church would be mint :)

Pretty sure you'd catch fire if you ever set foot in one.
Which seems a little unfair since the chap upstairs seems fine with his Earthly representatives getting noshes off choirboys. The minute it's two consenting adults, though, FIRE! BRIMSTONE!

My ex was Jewish
I survived a Synagogue.

Churches have a way more British way of going about.
Hushed whispers from where the pews and pulpits used to be.
