Hai Campers I'm back.
Light tea following massive FandC lunch.
A lot of those predictions look easy but with the knowledge of 1949 some of them are a bit good I think.
I remember watching the stars with my Granddad in 1952 (there was fuck all light pollution.) He remarked on how far technology had come in his lifetime; cars, aeroplanes, radio, radar, rockets, jet planes, TVs. All invented during his lifetime. He ended by saying "But, young edjogs me lad, they'll never get a man up on the moon." A few short years later they did, but he was dead by then (my Granddaad, not the man.)
