is it?
was involved in some way? I don't know how good I'd be at it this year. Thinking of going to Latitude next year, depending on getting a monday off

Yes it is - you and me do it every year. Nobody else listens to 6 and doesn't care
Set a date.

uh, when you're not too drunk and I'm not ill
i'll have to think about it. I love the Tame Impala album, I might just post all of that

I'm always drunk
We've had a serious music thread every year.

Oh I'm sulking now.

fine
when you are drunk and I'm not ill, then. perhaps that weekend between christmas and new year or something.
(, Wed 11 Dec 2013, 20:26, Reply)
That's a fine time. Probably.

(, Wed 11 Dec 2013, 20:28, Reply)
I listened to 6 today
They played some Nick Cave. Lord, he's a tedious bastard.
(, Wed 11 Dec 2013, 20:22, Reply)
incorrect
he's ace
(, Wed 11 Dec 2013, 20:23, Reply)
Yes, he can be tedious if you like the greatest "hits" of Wham

(, Wed 11 Dec 2013, 20:26, Reply)
Never was a Wham fan
Due to my terminal heterosexuality.
Still think Cave's overrated.
(, Wed 11 Dec 2013, 20:28, Reply)
yer but you famously have very conservative and pedestrian views on cultural matters

(, Wed 11 Dec 2013, 20:30, Reply)
Now, there I'd disagree
I do have a couple of issues with mainstream and 'hip' opinions - some of which seem to have marked me out as 'pedestrian' etc. Such as:-
Tarrantino - meh, I've seen all of his films, can't wait not to see them again.
Woody Allen - not funny. Ever.
(, Wed 11 Dec 2013, 20:37, Reply)
I stand by my assertion
The fact that you picked examples of pedestrian stuff merely backs me up.

And 'conservative' as in 'averse to change or innovation and holding traditional values.'
(, Wed 11 Dec 2013, 20:40, Reply)
OK I'm in.
What would you suggest I take a look at/listen to?
(, Wed 11 Dec 2013, 20:41, Reply)
I think I'm reading a book about Dozer
Confederacy of Dunces
(, Wed 11 Dec 2013, 20:43, Reply)
dunno
don't really care

CALL ME GOOD
CALL ME BAD
CALL ME ANYTHING YOU WANT TO BABY
BUT I KNOW
THAT YOU'RE SAD
AND I KNOW I'LL MAKE YOU HAPPY
WITH THE ONE THING THAT YOU NEVER HAD
(, Wed 11 Dec 2013, 20:30, Reply)
Nick Cave is fantastic
