I'm Back. And I'm Cooking.....Rebellious or wot?
After 2 weeks in the wilds with nae t'internet, nae phone coverage and only an emergency wedding to attend, the fat bastard formerly known as osok has returned, having killed a bunch of fish, limped aggressively over a moor or two, and spent an agreeable evening spitting rum into a campfire to see it go 'whoosh'. I also recommend the Theakston Brewery tour, as they give you free beer. Nuff Said.

Anyhoo, she who must be ignored is wallowing in her first hot bath for s fortnight, the battered spawn are snoozing, and I'm about to whip up a king prawn (known as king porn in oor hoose BTW) stirfry with chillies, lemongrass, lime juice and some other stuff.

I would give you the recipe but I've punished a bottle of Gosling Black Seal Rum,and may be clinically dead.

C'mon you B3TA foodies, what's cooking?

Hello
I don't believe we've been introduced.

I had semolina today. I bought some to make biscuits with and thought 'oh I've not had semolina pudding in years'.
So I made some and now I know why.

Roast chicken
And enough roast potatoes to feed an army, which should just about feed my flatmate and the boyfriend.

Although I do not do the baking tang (no sweet tooth whatsoever) unless on special days when I do the world's richest choccy pud, it is a pleasure to meet tha in a virtual manner.

Are you implying
that I use the dog in a wrong fashion?

Hello again Osok.
I have been a veritable angel today food wise and stayed within my diet requirements culminating in a dinner of a bulgar wheat, trout and spinach concoction.

Unfortunately it all went downhill after 9pm when I had a big plate of chips and a cheese sandwhich : (

@BGB
After all that talk of chips last night I'm not surprised.

Warning Kids
Don't slice up a pile of chillies the size of Jade Goody and then go for a fag. My lips feel like I've run a belt sander over them, I can catch flies with my now 8 inch tongue and I think my sinus has just exploded.

Der Obergruppenfuhrer (Domestic) scoffed the lot, however.

I'm just off for a tinkle/sherman or to explore some naughty parts just to get the urban myth-ness quota up to 150%.

Scoville Heat Units...... I love 'em.
