Alright The Internet?
I spent the day in the pub eating and boozing. Ain't done that for a while. What have you been up to, eh?
(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 18:07, 116 replies, latest was 11 years ago)
Took micro to the natural history museum. Now having a pint before going to bed. Been up since 4am.

(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 18:36, Reply)
It's a sad state of affairs that rather than spend a whole afternoon AND evening in the pub I'm looking forward to an early night instead.

(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 18:44, Reply)
Nothing wrong with that. I've got to go to Tiger Tiger on Tuesday. Not looking forward to a really late night...

(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 19:04, Reply)
Hard times, I'm sure you'll manage!

(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 19:07, Reply)
My nuts. In YM.

(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 18:55, Reply)
Why would you do that in front of my sisters kids? I suspected you might be a bit of a fiddler, but now it's confirmed.

(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 19:12, Reply)

Brown brogues, a really bent shirt and some records.

Also went to an exhibition of customised Technics.
(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 19:15, Reply)
Nice shirt description. I've been looking for a coat for ages but having no luck finding anything radical enough for my 'out there' tastes.

(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 19:16, Reply)
I have a coat by Fenchurch.
It does the job nicely.
(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 19:17, Reply)
The only one I have really liked was £600, which is a bit much.

(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 19:18, Reply)
who is it by?

(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 19:19, Reply)
Hugo boss.
There was a Lyle & Scott one that I liked too, but I looked at it yesterday and it was well shit, looked a lot better online.
(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 19:23, Reply)
Lyle & Scott is bent shit.
In a bad way.
(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 19:25, Reply)
I have a couple of jumpers, s'alright. Also the trainers I wanted aren't available in my size anymore. This happened with the boots I wanted too. I'm being oppressed.

(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 19:27, Reply)
it's a nightmare having massive feet
Trying to find shoes you like in your size.

You seen DC have started rereleasing classic trainers? My favourite ever DCs were navy blue Spectres. Fingers crossed for a reissue.
(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 19:30, Reply)
Innit. I just want some more onitsuka tigers but they're all size 10 or less for the ones I like.

This Houston bint flew a Russian and a Chinese space ship.
Not only did she know how to operate the entrance doors on each of them but in both cases she read their manuals for flight instructions. It was as far fetched as a Skagra post.
(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 19:19, Reply)
Sounds like the sort of bollocks that would drive me up the wall.

(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 19:25, Reply)
Yer and she had to let this geyser's rope go so he cruised
off into space alone. Must have been gravity that pulled them apart FFS!
I'm certain it would have had you spitting feathers. I went and made tea without pausing it.
(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 19:37, Reply)
I'm too much of a cynical pedant to enjoy sci fi type films.

(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 19:38, Reply)
Yer just because it's fiction doesn't mean it has to be devoid of all credibility

(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 19:41, Reply)
They plaster over massive plot holes with the use of 'future science', it's annoying

(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 19:42, Reply)
I can easily manage an all nighter but not a day. What's that all about?
My ex colleague used to make a lovely 'rye sour dough', i miss that.

(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 19:34, Reply)
I've seen a couple I could fancy.
Deadline for the other one's not until the end of the month though, whereas the one I applied for today's is tomorrow.
(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 19:35, Reply)
Lamb is the finest of all the meats. Great work!

(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 19:37, Reply)
I'd have to agree.
Then missus is cooking it so it'll taste even better. She's done it kind of Greek style and basted it in lemon.
(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 19:39, Reply)
Can't say I've had lamb and lemon....

(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 19:40, Reply)
It works very well.
I think she's also applied oregano.
(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 19:41, Reply)
I shall give it a whirl if I ever cook anything ever again.

(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 19:43, Reply)
I think the trick is not to go over the top with it.
*Edit* the missus has just said that she pricked the lamb with a knife, squeezed half a fresh lemon over it then massaged it in with some oregano and olive oil.
(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 19:48, Reply)
Cor!
When was the last time she massaged you in with some oregano and olive oil eh?
(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 20:04, Reply)

(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 20:34, Reply)
Alright Gramps.
What make of dog you got?
(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 19:39, Reply)
A rescued staffy.
She about 8 years old and we've only had her 5 weeks. She makes noises that sound exactly like Joey Deacon, which is what attracted us to her.
(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 19:40, Reply)
Never had one but met many customers' Staffies.
Top dogs and so loving with small kids.
(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 19:44, Reply)
They have excellent temperaments in general.
But so many people just don't have a scooby about them. Our last dog was a staffy cross and she was as soft as shite. Utterly mental as well, but so placid. New one's settled in really well in such a short space of time although she's still a bit wary about going for walks.
(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 19:45, Reply)
Owners of terrifying dogs always say that
"Ah he's a big softy"
(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 19:48, Reply)
I've had more damage inflicted upon me by a cat than I ever have from a dog.
Still got the scars...
(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 19:53, Reply)
I don't like cats either
Keeping animals in the house seems like a stupid idea.

The manics have produced some excellent music since Richie went away, I'm thankful for that.
I feel the same about Kurt killing himself so Dave growl could start the Food fightings.
(, Sun 19 Jan 2014, 20:12, Reply)
