happy birthday for tomorrow, one year closer to death
in answer to your question, no. I am not good at getting dates and things, I've been on one since then and spent most of it wishing he wasn't there so I could read my book (it was a really good book to be fair)

Haha
I bet you still haven't read that series of books I suggested?
(, Wed 22 Jan 2014, 17:25, Reply)
oh man, I can't even remember which they were
I got a bunch of kurt vonnegut books, a series by patrick ness and discovered bizzaro and now everything else has slipped down the list

i remember now
you're not the onely one who's recommended them, will add them to my amazon list
(, Wed 22 Jan 2014, 17:31, Reply)
Knowing some of the other things that you have read I think you would like them
hence the reason why others have also mentioned them
(, Wed 22 Jan 2014, 17:34, Reply)
cheers
well i recommend bizzaro, although i probably shouldn't. It's a genre which is deliberately absurd, yet clever, yet stupid

one story was about giant cocks attacking
(, Wed 22 Jan 2014, 17:36, Reply)
that's a general recommendation
i have no idea if that's really your thing, I think it's probably a bit niche.

Don't let Nakers know about that, he already has a phobia about hens

Slaughterhouse 5 is probably what I'm going to read next, seeing as it's relevant.
