I think the solution is to buy fucking expensive cars second hand
and cheap cars brand new. But you do need to a)know what you are doing with buying second hand and b)even then, get a bit of luck

that does at least show some taste, although for the money you were talking I'd probably buy a couple of years older and get a higher spec 997 rather than a newer standard Carerra. But swings and roundabouts, innit?
