My mothers 70th birthday yesterday
230 mile round trip to sit with my dull relatives.

Back again on Wednesday for the "family" meal.

Combination of the zoo, park, cooking together on Saturday, drawing, trip with some other dads & their kids to a petting farm yesterday. 9.9/10.

We both really enjoy it when we meet up with other dads & their kids. Typically it is just mothers that do the whole 'play date' thing with their kids.

I have massive respect for the staff that work in hospices. My uncle was in one years ago, the staff were awesome.
I have no idea how on earth they cope working with the dying on a regular basis.
