First class to Hull please
I find it strange that the Chinese are doing quite well in the Olympic swimming.

They weren't so good in Morecambe.

This post makes me very sad indeed

that I won't be able to meet Captain Placid on 23rd August as he's been one of my favourite posters for a good long while now.

hahaha
we had a load of chinese people turned up at the footie on tuesday night by minivans, my mate turned round to me while we were hanging around outside the ground and said

"didn't realise we were playing Morecambe!"

It's precisely...

this vile, disgusting, bad taste, sorrowful excuse for 'humour' that reminds me why we get on so well...

That...and the fact that you have some simply lurvely guitars...and you are able to protect me when fellow pub dwellers disapprove of our choice of songs and 'Belmers' jokes...

But seriously though...don't diss the Chinese...If it wasn't for those lovely folk I wouldn't have the maahooosive (but happy) belly I now proudly sport.

Save me a seat on the train to Hull
