it depends
he might be shit. he might have an unreasonable and unrealistic client. he might be trying it on knowing full well he'd have to cave. it all depends. but if you know your case is a shit one, you only let the client get so far, unless they are absolutely adamant they want to try regardless. otherwise they are just wasting money, and that's not good.

whether prison is the right sentence though, i don't know. he's got to live with it for the rest of his life, and he doesn't seem like he's a danger to anyone else. make him do hours of good works instead maybe. i don't know.
