well worth a trip - beautiful beaches etc (enid blyton based the famous 5 on the beach/corfe castle) as well as tyneham. which is amazingly sad and historically fascinating and yet what a great thing for the wildlife - it's quite a conflicting emotional place to visit.

my friend and i went to dorset for a girly weekend, and just happened to drive through a random gate
we only found out afterwards that we were really lucky with the timing, as it's only open on bank holidays - the rest of the time it's closed. such a beautiful spot.
