Maybe you need a smaller horse?
Also, how can it be hard work to "sit"?

you try sitting with your legs spread and wrapped around something the girth of a horse for an hour or more
you get used to it, but the first couple of sessions you end up walking like john wayne.

it's easy to sit whilst they are walking. it gets harder when they speed up. standing trot is hard until you learn the rhythm. kids pick it up without thinking. adults can struggle.

Sounds shit, why not travel by car instead?
Comfy seat, air con, radio and no horse cock
