since my mum died, we go away as a family quite a lot
it's one of the very few silver linings to the tragedy, as we all really like it, especially the kids.

to come this year: week in cornwall, week in spain, 2 weeks in california with frog being plotted, week in barbados over christmas

why? i'm hoping they won't let him back in
never been away by myself, apart from a few days at the place in cornwall, but i really do quite fancy a week somewhere peaceful like grenada, just me, the beach and a huge pile of books.
