Aww, al
You kind, kind man, rubbing it in like that.

I'm just back from my new flat in Glasgow. The internet was reading 6.5mb, which made me pretty happy.
Much interesting been happening today?

@Al:
I am new indeed! Hello!
It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I was only joking about not sharing, I'm all for spreading the love. However the distance between us (me being in Slough and you being in London) somewhat precludes me from sharing with you.
Rest assured though, should I ever meet you in person, and should I ever have Custard with me at the time, I will share.

Today I did my first days work in 7 weeks
And more to the point it was my first day 'going solo' as a teacher.
No one died.

Afraid a culmination of lasagne, ale, everything bad which you can eat/drink/absorb by osmosis has already produced a belly worthy of an 80's darts player.

I'm getting into blues music at the moment. Bought some compilation albums to get me going and decide which artists albums I want to get. I've listened to some of Stevie Ray's stuff given to me by The Resident Loon.

My mate's a good blues guitarist.
We wrote a tragic song about having no socks.
Then a did a twangy bit on a banjitar.
He had had a lot of cider and MDMA by that point in the evening though.

I strongly suggest more Stevie Ray, he's brilliant
Also, there's a guy called John Mayer, if you've heard of him? He started out quite acoustic/poppy, but now has taken a bluesy turn; try his newest album Continuum, it's a nice blues/mainstream fusion.
but yeah, it's all incredibly difficult stuff and my being able to play it should make me some kind of demi-god in your eyes. :P
@BK: I once wrote a song about my armchair being occupied as a GCSE Music project. It was the most harrowing blues ever known to man. The only way it could possibly have been better would be if it was sung by an old black man in an old black suit.
I hope we're all well this fine eve. Has anyone any exciting plans for tonight or the rest of the week?

Random... there was a bunch of drunk tramps outside the co-op, I walk past minding my own business, one takes a swing and hits me on the shoulder then his mates pull him away. Meh. I've spoken to them before - the guy who hit me has had several long conversations about books with me. He's a nice guy, just a drunk and a heroin addict. Not really much point in responding really.
I see we are all still alive... hmm.. odd. Thats not what the Sun said might happen.

Ah well, at least you'll be having fun with the sprog. I've been seeing her photoshop skills you've posted on the main board now and then. I see she has your sense of humour.

Cool well if you are about Saturday and bored feel free to pop in to Leamington to see the crazy Leam B3tans (and one from Stratford, one from Warwick and a couple other Cov-ers :P) :p

At Ms Blouse
I'm developing her. She's not going to be a super-popular-girl in her year (overdoing make-up, getting frisky with boys early, mastering fluttering eyelash 'Oh you boys are so Big and so Strong') so I'm not worried that she might go down the Goth/Rock route (as if I hadn't encouraged it but held back on positive force to let her make up her own mind)
I like GothRockers. They are supportive, non judgemental and blind to aesthetic entry requirements to their association. Whilst I hope that my girl will grow up to become a stunna (as any dad does, you hope they'll do better than you did), I prefer more for her to be an open-minded lovely person. Who may also as well be a pretty lass.
her art is copying of mine out of impressedness, but it has its own content which I may polish occasionally buit it's always 95% hers.
:-)
@ the grammar badger, I have to go account for the last 12 motnhs to the taxman so I need my dad to counterbalance my job skillz with his knowledge of accounting. But I would be extra-impressed should you choose to come up to Cov in November for my bash, and in-between, why not just for a chat and a pint with the other local b3tans :-)

Evening all!
How are we doing? I had a most disappointing meal, my steak from Sainsburys was off.
Oh well, currently plugging the gap with beer.

Evenin' newcomers
@POD: Maybe the 3 hours got sucked into a mini black-hole (you know, temporal dialtion and all that).
@TGB: From the bottle's name and the cropped top, I am starting to make guesses about what the bottle-neck looks like.

I got stuff taken up to my flat today, and got the internet working, my tv and consoles set up, and my drumkit set up, so that is good. It's going to be a hilarious flat to live in. Can't wait.

Suprisingly, I seem to be getting positive comments. Posting something on /board is a bit of a gamble.

Captain V has sexy hair.
I left at ten, as it's a long way back here.
I had a nice time.
Subjects covered included:
Being forced to give oral sex to a paedophile with an orange penis.
Syphilis.
Bone chapels.
This weeks QOTW.
That's about it.
