I'm back!
Internets are functional, flat is de-spidered, Mr Maladicta is present and the Channel Tunnel is no longer on fire. Yesterday I spent all day in Ashford terminal in a high-vis vest directing pissed off people to the departures lounge after they got off the train from Dover.

How are you gentle b3tans? What did I miss?

hello there
what have you missed?

Well when the Large Hadron Collider was turned on the last vestiges of any intelligence vanished from /talk and they have spent the last week trying to act like 4 year old children rather than adults, Bert the sexmonkey is back, and we are on the 3rd average qotw in a row.

I did read a French newspaper article when I went to Paris last Friday
about a black hole swallowing the Earth, and I felt a bit jealous because I always planned to go to CERN when I was living in Lausanne...

The resident Loon will be coming to England
and to celebrate this, we're having a bash in London on the 25th. See the list of upcoming QOTW bashes for details.

In case you missed it, here are the photos from the Big Bash on 23rd August (check the links in my post for some reports).
