So Cunts, do you reckon I should get an iMac for the missus, or a fucking Microsoft Tablet thingy?
Those Apple products look real nice and shit, but are they still some kind of obscure sect when it comes to everyday online life?

Yeah, true, a cheap Chardonnay and a quick fisting should keep the peace.

yeah I know, but jeez the iPads are fucking intuitive to use as soon as you pull them out of the box. She love the friggin iPhone, for someone who has near zero IT skillz;

do you mean iPad?
They are overpriced for what they are but they are far easier to use if you're an IT moron

We've got 3 iPads in the house, they are the best time-suck devices ever invented, and deceptively simple to use. I agree, Apple must have spent billions on researching their devices on thick cunts.

You. You can stay.
Even though I like drinking real ale, have a poorly thought out beard and long to own a triumph stag one day.

Fuck. Why not buy an MGB? Why not buy a sports coat with leather elbow patches (and why leather elbow patches? Lest the wearer wear thin the elbow part of the sleeve, as they lie in the bushes, taking photos of young children enjoying the playground equipment).

I recently moved at work from PC to Mac.
I don't get the fuss - seems the same.
Likewise I have just replaced my MP3 player with an iPod (birthday present). So far I'm impressed - the screen is really good, and the battery life is great.
However, where Apple falls down entirely for me is price/memory ratio. My previous MP3 player was 230Gb, and was about £250. My iPod was about that and is 64Gb.
So to conclude, Apple stuff seems to be good, but massively, massively overpriced.

and their rationale seems to be based around consumers having a semi-permanent internet connection to stream content, rather than hoard it onboard.

I reckon in the spring Apple are going to release the most kick-ass UltraBook ever made.
Intel have released their new processors, which is what they're waiting for. Wouldn't supprise me if you see a 24h battery life or a retina screen.

my favourite thing about having macbooks is having to use a dongle to drive a projector and it still spazzing out over screen resolutions
I'm assuming this is because nobody wants to share the wank they usually have on their macbook
