The same as my opinion of beats, if they work and you like them that's just fine by me.

My wife has a pair of Gucci headphones.
They're surprisingly well balanced.

Obviously I bought the offending pair of headphones for swipey. I tried them out, they are 'fine' for listening to music and she likes them because they're pink. Who am I to argue?

If you've made a woman happy, all power to you.
You could've got a pink pair from poundland though.

She said she'd quite like some beats. I got her what she asked for. It's a simple affair really, and I'm not using them so my opinion of their reproductive sound quality matters not.

you're quite defensive about this simple affair, if you don't mind me saying

Colour the 'b' in to match the rest of the headphones.
Remove all of that tacky commercial stuff.

Not vandalism...
a romantic surprise.
I've had a better idea though. Add 'udgie' to the b. You might need to glue on some extensions to fit it in though.

You should've tucked them under your foreskin and played a low frequency saw wave through them.

Opinion? - not this time
Test results - personal test results obtained in an acoustics lab at City University when I was studying there. Pink noise through the amplifier - tested with binaural B&K frequency analyser. The Sennheisers were the closest to perfect reproduction.

yeah I am aware of their qualities, let's not forget I have a 'musicology degree'
however for all of your tedious bluster I'm more interested in buying someone something they like rather than something of studio quality that doesn't colour the sound in any way and I can bore the arse off anyone asking about them by regurgitating a stream of dull 'facts' no one really cares to hear.
