personal allowance is withdrawn at 50p in the pound once income is 100k.
You can regain it, and enjoy effective tax relief of 60% by making personal contributions to a pension scheme.

Pension contributions extend the basic and higher rate thresholds by the amount of the gross contribution.

Tax office have said 115k and make no mention of offsetting against company pension contributions
should it be queried?
(, Thu 29 Jan 2015, 13:48, Reply)
