When did they stop the personal allowance if you earn more than 115k?

personal allowance is withdrawn at 50p in the pound once income is 100k.
You can regain it, and enjoy effective tax relief of 60% by making personal contributions to a pension scheme.
Pension contributions extend the basic and higher rate thresholds by the amount of the gross contribution.

Tax office have said 115k and make no mention of offsetting against company pension contributions

only personal contributions, not employer conts.
120k means no personal allowance.
